All of the group looks after the mothers and their young.
The young are always with their mothers. As soon as they are born they cling to their mother’s belly, then they learn to stay on their mother’s back. The mother teaches her young how to find food and recognize danger. When they are bigger, the young baboons begin to separate from their mothers and to play with others.
